Betsy Ross is a cooperative nursery school which was founded in 1947 by a group of married students at Yale University in search of quality preschool care for their children.
It is now independently operated by a Board of Directors composed of parent volunteers. We are a nonprofit, nonsectarian and nondiscriminatory organization. While parent involvement enhances the spirit and functioning of the school, the level of participation is determined by the individual family.
We have a long-term, qualified, dedicated staff who love working with preschoolers and a great facility for little ones to gain their first educational experience. Wehave been NAEYC certified for over 7 years and are committed to their guidelines and suggestions.
